A Planning workshop was conducted in South Province from 22nd- 23rd January 2011. All the PD coordinators, except from 2 schools participated in this workshop. Participants shared their success and challenges of last years and discussions were carried out to minimize these problems.
An annual plan was drawn for each school, based on the need analysis of the teachers. This workshop also assisted to build a better network between the PD coordinators in the province, and was a good forum for the PD coordinators to share their best practices with their colleagues.
The workshop was started by a lecture by Adeel Naseer regarding the leadership roles of PD coordinators. The other sessions were facilitated by S.TRC coordinator Aishath Shibana and it was concluded by a discussion forum chaired by the in-charge of South Province Education Unit , Madam Fathmath Naseer.
