A School Self Assessment was done by Shamsudheen School on 28th January 2011. This was part of their Professional development. Teaching and Learning dimension from the Barabaru School Indicator was taken to assess. Teachers were very cooperative and worked as a team in this activity.
Parents, students and other stakeholders were interviewed on certain aspects of teaching and learning to find out where the school stands in this dimension. Finally a school improvement plan was done based on the findings. All the staff participated in this workshop which continued for 10 hrs. The sessions were facilitated by S.TRC coordinator Aishath Shibana. It was organized by the PD coordinator Mariyam Zameera.
