Number of sessions on single session schooling has been conducted in various schools of South Province during the last 5 days. These sessions are part of the program organized by Education Unit to improve the education in the schools where they have single session. The main target of these sessions were to create awareness on what a holistic education is and motivate the teachers and parents on implementing a holistic educational program in their schools. The principal of B. Maalhohu School, Abdul Azeez Yousuf along with S. TRC coordinator Aishath Shibana facilitated most of the sessions. The principal of Gn. AEC Abdullah Rasheed also facilitated one session. Hulhudhoo School, Seenu Atoll School, Fuah Mulak School and Gn. AEC participated in this program. It was decided to start implementing the new ideas in the coming semester in all the schools except Gn. AEC, where they are practicing a holistic educational program.
